Mr Anwar K Nazar is a dedicated Physiotherapist who graduated from Dr MGR Medical University, Tamil Nadu. As soon as he received his bachelor degree in physiotherapy, he pursued his studies and went on to complete the Master degree in Neuro Physiotherapy from Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Kerala. He has two publications on his name on two different journals. He joined Ahalia Diabetes Hospital as Senior Consultant Physiotherapist. Mr Anwar is especially interested in adult neurological and orthopaedic disorders, chronic pain management, soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries and also well versed in a broad range of PT programs, treatments and modalities in restoring function and mitigating disability for diseased and injured patients.
He is proficient in patient assessment, time management and evidence-based therapy program design. He has excellent hands on skills and an expert in incorporating advanced treatment techniques in combination with the conventional physiotherapy treatment protocols. Mr Anwar K Nazar is the first ever Certified PRRT Therapist in South India and the first certified Kinetic Control Movement Therapist (KCMT) in Palakkad District, Kerala.
Mr Anwar K Nazar is a London Shoulder Clinic Certified Practitioner (UK). He hold certification in Advanced Postural Biomechanical Correction of spine and extremities. He is also an International Certified Dry Needling Therapist, Soft Tissue Manual Therapist. Mr Anwar is certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation Pilon technique and have undergone training under the mentorship of Dr Gustavo Pilon (creator of the technique). Preferred areas of treatment include soft tissue and joint dysfunctions.
