80 km Bike Rally – Ahalia Diabetes Hospital
In connection with World Diabetes Day, The Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology at Ahalia Diabetes Hospital Palakkad organized an 80 km Bike Rally, followed by a theme of ‘Rally to Educate, A Ride to Nelliyampathy Hills’ on 28th November, Sunday.
The event started from Ahalia Diabetes Hospital Palakkad, flagged off by Dr. Prem Narayanan, the Head of Endocrinology and Diabetology Department and Medical Director of Ahalia diabetes hospital, at around 5.30 am.
The rally proceeded via Ahalia Diabetes Hospital, Manalaroo garden hospital, Pothupara- Karapara, Thookkupalam, Keshavanpara, Pothundi dam.
Hundreds of attendees, including Professional riders, students, youth, and senior citizens from all over Kerala, joined the rally that drove diabetes awareness mottoes.
After reaching the end, Dr. Prem Narayanan, the head of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology and Medical Director of Ahalia Diabetes Hospital, delivered the keynote address on the importance of diabetes awareness and officially concluded the celebration of diabetes month.
The event proceeded at Ahalia Diabetes Hospital Palakkad closed with a free diabetic medical camp at Manaloroo Garden Hospital.
