Ahalia Organizes Tug of War
In connection with World Obesity Day, the Endocrinology and Diabetology Department of Ahalia Diabetes Hospital, Palakkad, organized the “Tug of War – Fat to Fit Challenge 2022” at Kotta Maidan, Palakkad on 4th March 2022. The event, jointly organized by the District Tug of War Association, Fort Workers Club, Rotary Club Olavacode, Major Ravi’s Training Academy, S.S Academy, B.T.S Academy, U.F.C Academy, National Force academy, was inaugurated by Dr. Prem Narayanan, Head of Endocrinology and Diabetology at 6.00 am. Mr. Telin Thampi, Tug-of-War Coach of Kerala, was the chief guest at the occasion.
The war that aimed to encourage young people to adopt a healthy lifestyle has won by Team Kerala in the girl’s category one (Under 17). The other champions include; The Rotary Club Olavakkode in the Boys Category 2 (Under 17), S.S Academy in the Boys Category 3 (Under 25), and SPRTC in the Female Category Four (Under 25).
